If you have taken any of my photography courses over the past few years, you know that my classes are not biased towards a specific manufacturer. I have owned and enjoyed many Nikon and Canon cameras, as well as Olympus, Sony, and other brands, including some recent smart phones whose quality would surprise you.
I don’t believe that a brand bias helps anyone learn. In fact, just reading your manual and daily practice will do much more for you than worrying about what name is stamped on your gear or even whether or not you have enough megapixels!
Of course there there are some basic gear limitations and guidelines when shooting in certain situations, but I’ll help you understand these and offer you practical guidance for all camera types. If you have any specific questions related to your gear please feel free to email me directly through the “Contact” link above.
